How Does Xeomin® Work?

Xeomin® works by temporarily relaxing the muscles that cause expression lines and wrinkles. When these muscles are less active, the skin above them appears smoother and softer.

This can help reduce the appearance of:

Forehead lines

Frown lines between the eyebrows

Crow's feet around the eyes

Other expression lines that develop over time

The treatment is quick, with most appointments taking around 15–30 minutes. Results usually begin to appear within a few days, with full results visible after 1–2 weeks.

Dysport®

Dysport® is a botulinum toxin type A treatment used to temporarily relax selected facial muscles that contribute to expression lines.

It can be used to soften the appearance of areas such as:

Aftercare

Anti-Wrinkle Injections — Aftercare

Your treatment's done, and honestly there's not much left to do. A few simple things over the next 24 hours will help everything settle in properly.

For the first 4 hours

Stay upright — avoid lying down or bending over for at least 4 hours.

Gently exercise the treated muscles (frown, raise your brows, smile) — this helps the product settle. Avoid rubbing or massaging the area.

For the first 24 hours

Avoid touching, rubbing or applying pressure to the treated area.

Skip strenuous exercise, saunas, hot yoga and very hot showers.

Avoid alcohol, which can increase the chance of bruising.

Leave makeup off the treated area if possible, and apply gently if needed.

For the first 2 weeks

Avoid facials, microdermabrasion, laser treatments and other facial procedures.

Do not have any pressure-based facial massage.

What's normal

Small raised bumps or mild redness at the injection sites usually settle within a few hours.

Minor swelling, tenderness or bruising can occur and typically resolves within a few days.

When You'll See Results

Results develop gradually over 3–14 days as the muscles relax, with full effect at around two weeks. Results typically last 3–4 months.

Your Follow-Up

A review appointment is included around two weeks after treatment, so we can check your results and make any refinements.
